Today we are offering for sale a lovely and elegant Gorham solid 925 sterling silver coffee pot. Gorham was founded in 1831 in Providence, RI and is one of the most renowned and iconic American silver manufacturers. This refined and beautiful coffee pot is in the "Puritan" pattern, which came out in 1930's. The shapely and understated design is accentuated by faux bone detailing on the handle. Marked on the bottom "Gorham Sterling/451/ 2 3/4 Pint/Reinforced Handle". In very good antique condition, with minor wear/scuffing/tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There is a slight dent on the base and also two very small dents on the body, all of which can be easily smoothed out by a jeweler. This coffee pot, along with many other sterling pieces we will be listing all came from a private collection in a fine Providence East Side mansion. Fresh to the market!
